Chandigarh: Yes! You can attend/take both SBI Bank Clerk Exam and IBPS Bank Clerk Exam if you have the required qualifications.
The Eligibility Requirements for IBPS Bank Clerk Exam:
- Should Hold a Graduation Degree from any recognized university.
- Should Have Completed Graduation and not in the final year. (you can attend the exam for practice sake, if you are in your final year of graduation.)
- The Age limit must be between 20 and 28 years.
- Age limit for OBC: 31 yrs
- Age Limit for SC/ST: 33 yrs
- Age Limit for PWD: 38 yrs
The Eligibility Requirements for SBI Bank Clerk Exam:
- 60% in 12th grade, or hold a degree from any university which is recognized from govt.
- You can attend the exam even if you are in final year of your graduation. If you qualify, then you are eligible for the next rounds. It is not the same for IBPS Exams.
- Age Limit must be between 18 and 28 yrs.
- Age limit for OBC: 31 yrs
- Age Limit for SC/ST: 33 yrs
There are few unwanted situations sometimes, if for example, both the exam dates fall on the same day, then you have to make a decision on which exam to attend, otherwise there is nothing illegal about attending SBI Bank Clerk and IBPS Bank Clerk Exam.
Fortunately, if you join a coaching center, they provide a common coaching for both the SBI Clerk exam and IBPS Clerk exam, so that you can take advantage of both. Computer knowledge and regional language is also required for SBI Clerk Posts.
