Chandigarh: The Reserve Bank of India and the Public Sector Banks conducts IBPS examination. IBPS is visualized as a research-oriented Institute for recruiting people for various bank posts through personnel assessment. A common written examination is held for selecting the Clerks and Officers in Indian Banks. These exams are conducted online at several locations in the country.
The Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) recruitment procedure consists of three stages: The first segment is a Common Written Examination, which is followed by Interview, and the last segment is the final placement. The CWE is the most competitive examinations in India. The syllabus and instructions of the exam are provided in the exam notification. The common interview is arranged at different locations, and the final merit list is prepared for recruiting the banking position during the validity of the score card. Final Selection is done after the examination and the interview.
The CWE competitive exams include objective type questions. The false answers would get negative marking. During the interview session, lots of questions are targeted on the interviewee. The most common questions asked are why do you want to join a Bank or a government job? Having your answers ready for such questions would be a preferable. Many people take a GAP in education or Gap in work experience. If you have a genuine reason for GAP such as Accident, family problem, or other similar problem. It is better you tell the interviewer the actual reason. But in case if you took a GAP for preparing the competitive exam, then tell them you were preparing for the exam. Prepare the list of books you referred for exam preparation. As they might ask you which books did you refer. Try presenting yourself in the best possible way to the Interviewer.
