SBI Bank PO Exam Preparation Strategy



All of you have your own strength and weakness when it comes to these four subjects. You all are aware that SBI bank po exam tests the candidates on four different areas.

  1. First, one is Data Interpretation and Analysis, which is the part of quantitative aptitude. 
  2. The second section is test of reasoning or so called high level reasoning when it comes to SBI bank po exam.  
  3. The third section is test of English, which tries to analyse your Comprehension Skills, your Vocabulary, and Grammar. 
  4. The last section is the test of General Awareness, Computers, and Marketing. 

Therefore, these are the four sections, which a candidate needs to confront. Time allotted for this exam is 2 hours. There will be 50 questions from each section and immediately after this online exam, you need to take a descriptive exam of 50 marks and the time allotted for this is 1 hour, which consist of an essay writing, letter writing, reading comprehension. This comprehension is different from what you will find in the main exam as for this one you need to give the descriptive answers instead of choosing the options.

For DI section, focus more on:

  • Permutation and combination

For Reasoning, section focuses more on:

  • Arrangements
  • Machines input and output
  • Coded inequalities
  • Coding and decoding
  • Blood relations
  • Syllogism
  • Critical reasoning

For English, section focuses more on:

  • Reading comprehension
  • Synonyms and antonyms
  • Idioms and phrases
  • Spotting errors
  • Cloze test
