The IBPS Specialist Officer Exam is conducted once a year and this will be an Online Exam. The below mentioned are the 10 different types of posts and 2 different exams are conducted depending on few types of posts.
IBPS SPL III - 13

IBPS Specialist Officers (SO) Posts:




For the 1st 3 Posts the following will be the Exam Pattern Structure:
Law Officer with Scale I, Law Officer with Scale II and Rajbhasha Adhikari with Scale I:

Law Officer Scale I, Law Officer Scale II, Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I Exam Structure



For the Posts from 4 to 10 the Following will be the Exam Pattern Structure:
IT Officer (Scale I and II), Agricultural Field Officer, HR Officer, Marketing Officer, Chartered Accountants, Manager (Credit)/Finance Executive:


IT Officer Scale I, Agriculture Officer Scale I, HR Officer, Marketing Officer Scale I, IT Officer Scale II Exam Structure


Penalty Marks:
For every wrong answer, there will be a penalty of 1/4th mark. In case if you leave the answer as blank, then there will be no penalty. So, if you are not sure of the answer for a given question, then do not provide any answer. Only answer the questions you are sure of.

Syllabus Preparation Tips:


#1 Quantitative Aptitude:


If you are preparing for Quantitative Aptitude, then it is better to go with R.S Agarwal Quantitative Aptitude. You should be very confident about whatever you have learned, as there is a penalty involved for wrong answers.

#2 Reasoning Exam:


A lot of time is consumed in this section, so it is better to prepare with time limit. You can set a time limit for each question while in your preparatory stages.

#3 English:


Start reading English newspapers every day, also read few novels of possible. Learn meanings of each word and the opposites of words.

#4 General Awareness Exam:


Your general awareness can be improved by reading newspapers, watching news. Focus on banking sector news. It is very important. All these  things will also help in your Personal Interview Round.

#5 Professional Knowledge:


For IT Officer exam, IT related questions are asked. For Agriculture Field Officer Exam, Agriculture related questions will be asked.
