These days it is very common to have a B.com degree. Every year many graduates pass out in this field. There are many courses to avail after graduation, as graduation alone cannot get you a standardized high salary job. Bank exams are organized every year by various nationalized banks to hire quality candidates for their banks. The banking sectors have a growing success rate. It is not easy to be recruited in the banking sector in India. The common written exam (CWE) is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel as a part of recruitment program.
Bank PO Should Be Your First Target:
The Bank PO post is where the bank probationary officers or management trainees are appointed as the first level bank officer. The candidate elected as the PO has to do the work related to general banking and administration work. They work until the completion of the probation period and can be asked to do any work related to the banking. The Bank PO joins the bank as Asst. Manager after the probation period. Who Conducts These Exams? IBPS and SBI!
IBPS is an autonomous agency. IBPS is an Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It arranges a common interview for the applicants and prepares a merit list to recruit directly to the banking positions they have applied.
SBI exams are conducted by the State Bank of India controlled by IBPS to recruit clerks or assistant post associate in the bank. The eligibility criteria for applying the banking exams is a graduation degree from a recognized university, and the age group of the applicant should be 20 to 30. The applicant should possess computer knowledge and should know English and the Language of the state he or she is applying the exam.
