Bank PO Job Responsibilities


A bank probationary officer (PO) is the entry-level position for the bank officers. Their traditional task includes:
  1. Administration work
  2. General banking work
  3. They also respond to the complaints of the customers related to issues like charges, account discrepancies or even the bank services. 
After the successful completion of the probationary period I. E. of 2 years, the bank PO now becomes the assistant manager. In the starting, they are placed in the areas that look after customer transactions. However, once they become experienced, they are given an opportunity to work in other areas like:
  1. Marketing
  2. Planning
  3. Budgeting
  4. Processing of loans and investment management etc.
